VISION

To know Him & make Him known.

John 17:3 (know Him)
“This is eternal life: to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you sent”

Acts 20:24 (make Him known)
“But nothing, not even my life, is more important than my completing my mission. This is nothing other than the ministry I received from the Lord Jesus: to testify about the good news of God’s grace”

MISSION

Make Disciples, Baptize, Teach

Matthew 28:18-20
18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[b] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

    1. Honesty | Philippians 4:8-9

    2. Community | John 13:34-35

    3. Empowerment | Exodus 18:13-26

    4. Grace | James 4:6

    5. Trust | Proverbs 3:5-6

    6. Communication | Ephesians 4:29

    7. Stewardship | 1 Peter 4:10

    1. Honesty -

    Philippians 4:8-9

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

Honesty is our responsibility—not just to uphold Christian principles, but to protect the trust that binds us together. Truth isn’t a weapon; it’s a light. We speak what is true not to shame, but to shine light—because exposure, when done in love, brings healing, freedom, and growth. In every conversation, we honor one another by choosing what is true, pure, and worthy of respect—because love without truth is empty, and truth without love is harsh.

    2. Community -

    John 13:34-35

34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. 35 By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Community is where Christ’s love takes shape. We don’t just meet together—we commit to one another. The way we love, serve, and walk together is the clearest evidence of who we follow.

    3. Empowerment -

    Exodus 18:13-26

The next day Moses sat to judge the people, and the people stood around Moses from morning till evening. When Moses' father-in-law saw all that he was doing for the people, he said, “What is this that you are doing for the people? Why do you sit alone, and all the people stand around you from morning till evening?” And Moses said to his father-in-law, “Because the people come to me to inquire of God; when they have a dispute, they come to me and I decide between one person and another, and I make them know the statutes of God and his laws.” Moses' father-in-law said to him, “What you are doing is not good. …

Empowerment is first about hearing the heart of leadership and then serving through teachability and humility. Our heart, your mind. To accomplish the vision of what God has placed in the hearts of leadership. Leadership adopts good ideas from humble hearts. Humble hearts lead well. It’s not my idea for my glory, it’s my idea for God’s glory.

    4. Grace -

    James 4:6 (ESV)

"But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, ‘God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.’”

"We lead with humility because grace flows downhill.”

Grace is the gift God pours out generously on the humble—those who recognize their need and surrender pride. We lead with humility because grace flows downhill, transforming hearts and communities from the inside out. When we embrace our own weaknesses and extend grace to others, we create space for healing, restoration, and authentic growth. True strength is found not in self-exaltation, but in relying fully on the unmerited favor of God.

    5. Trust -

    Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 (NIV)
"Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up."

We build trust by supporting one another—lifting each other up in both strength and weakness. Trust grows in the soil of dependable care, where we show up, listen, and stand firm together.

    6. Communication -

    Ephesians 4:29 (ESV)

"Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.”

We speak to build, not just to be heard. Communication isn’t just about being heard; it’s about serving others with kindness, wisdom, and timing. When we commit to building others up, our speech becomes a reflection of God’s love and a catalyst for unity and healing within our community.

    7. Stewardship -

    1 Peter 4:10

As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace:

"Excellence is our offering, not our ego—because what we do with what we've been given reveals who we truly serve. We don’t strive to impress; we aim to honor the One who entrusted us with it all."

  • Who do we want to empower?

Those who prioritize a healthy relationship with God. | We can see your fruit.

Reading the Bible and praying daily. Not only studying to prepare for a message but staying close to the Father to know Him. A healthy relationship with God is the inner-work that God is doing being evident with the fruits of the spirit. Not spiritual aesthetics, it doesn’t matter what you look like, it matters what you act like.

    John 15:5

I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.

Servants. | We see your service.

Every leader in the House of God is a servant. We don’t ask leaders to fill a title or role without seeing their service. We don’t fill needs to attain titles, we serve well in our capacity to accomplish within our gifting. The greatest servants recognize their gifting and align their hearts with the Holy Spirit.

    Galatians 5:13

For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.

    Mark 10:45, 1 Peter 4:10

Those who value the Family first. | Our priority is our home, second to our relationship with the Lord.

Our families are our first ministry. Scripture teaches us to keep our home in order. Because we believe everything flows out of the home, we must keep in line with scripture to assess first our own home before leading others.

    1 Timothy 3:5

For if someone does not know how to manage his own household, how will he care for God's church?

Those who Honor Marriage | Marriage is a testimony.

    Ephesians 5:25-31

25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself for her 26 to make her holy, cleansing[f] her with the washing of water by the word. 27 He did this to present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or anything like that, but holy and blameless. 28 In the same way, husbands are to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. 29 For no one ever hates his own flesh but provides and cares for it, just as Christ does for the church, 30 since we are members of his body.[g] 31 For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.

If your marriage isn’t healthy your message isn’t healthy. Our marriages speak to our centeredness on Christ. We don’t speak with disrespect about marriage. We celebrate and uphold the honor and sanctity of the covenant before God. We believe marriage is a covenant between one man and one woman.

Those who Give Financially | Tithe, Offerings

Scripture teaches us that where your treasure is there your heart is also. We give to what we love. We prioritize giving to God, before we give to anything else.

    Matthew 6:21

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Those who Honor one another. | Honor’s best friend is humility.

Especially as leaders we model how to submit, serve and surrender to the Lordship of Jesus. Honoring is not just speaking well of, it’s intentionally aligning our hearts to the vision and mission of the House. Honor is a pathway to forgiveness, unity and authority.

    1 Timothy 5:17

Let the elders who rule well be considered worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in preaching and teaching.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

  • We believe there is only one God in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, as revealed in the Holy Bible and made known in Jesus Christ our Lord. Genesis 1:1,26,27; Psalm 90:2; Matthew 28:19

  • We believe that Jesus the divine Son became human, was born of a virgin, ministered in word and miracle, died for our sin, was raised bodily from the dead, ascended to God's right hand and is coming again for his people.

  • We believe God created the Earth and everything in it. Genesis 1:1-31 Humankind is a special creation of God, made in His image. He created them, male and female, being the only genders, as the crowning work of His creation. The gift of gender is thus part of the goodness of God’s creation. He assigned separate genders and made them equal in dignity, value, and worth as image bearers of Him. Genesis 1:27-Genesis 2:7; Isaiah 4:12.

  • We believe that sexual activity is to be exclusively practiced within the parameters of biblical marriage, and that marriage is defined in both Old and New Testaments as an institution ordained by God as a lifelong union of only one man and one woman. Genesis 1&2; Matthew 19: 4-6

  • We believe that the Holy Spirit is presently ministering through the Christian Community, empowering lives of godliness and service.

  • We believe that the Holy Bible is God-breathed, true in all its teaching, and the final authority for all matters of faith and practice.

  • We believe that Jesus Christ established his Church on earth to carry out his saving mission among all people groups and formed the Church to be One Holy People.

  • We believe in God's saving grace that calls forth from all people: faith, repentance, confession, baptism, and new life and ministry through the Spirit.

  • And we commit ourselves to the teaching, practice and defense of these truths until the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
